The Program begins...

So this is it. A decision for the next 16 weeks. Training plan, nutrition plan to follow. Let's see where it takes me.

So the material we are working of:
Nat, 57 kg, 20% bodyfat, sometimes can press the 16kg overhead, RKC, but since the Big Exam no real training goals.
The goal with this program: the six-pack. It's nice to get ripped after all :)
Another goal, not specifically with this plan (as this is mainly a fat-burning program) is to do a strict pull-up. Or chin-up. Whichever.

And we are starting up.
Training plan and nutrition plan.
Nutrition plan: exact calories, protein, carbohydrate, fat intake calculated. List of 'yes'-foods (everything else is a 'no'): phew, I like them all. Leave the rice, oatmeal and sweet potato. I'm still a 'primal eater'. Not going to be easy as without these calorie-dense foods I'll need loads, and I mean LOADS of veg. No problem. Me likes broccoli.

Next step: shopping list and GO! Not touching anything that's not on the list apart from spices. Oh, 1-quid frankfurters - LEAVE THEM THERE!!! Quite good, it stops at 30 quid. And no cheap junk in the basket - Me Gusta!

Training plan is easy. 40 minutes plus warm-up, warm-down. Easy to remember, but not easy to do. Write it on a paper, set up the timer on the mobile, get the bells ready.

And the Big Day begins. Work. No food. Waiting for food. Talking about food, dreaming of food. Then home and EAT... and eat... and eat... God, does it ever stop...? More sprouts, more broccoli. I like it but normally I eat less. (And then I keep opening the cupboard for a little bit of this and that - baad habit, but not this time!)

A nice walk to let it settle than at home, get changed and get some music on. Timer start and.... GO! Warm-up, getting the bell off the ground again and again. 'Rest when needed' - who needs rest? Arms are burning, there seems to be less and less air in the room and it's getting warmer. Who cares? Go on! Rest when needed..... not yet.... maybe a quick drink of water..... BACK TO WORK!
The closing swings are a blessing, nice and easy, my favorite-ever exercise. Explosive but I feel that I'm home.

And then.... Oooh, you haven't had all your calories yet, and you need to reload carbs so your muscles don't feed on themselves (the little self-cannibals...). Sprooouuuuts and egggggs and chiiiickeeeeen, eating veeeery sloooowly, it doesn't go any faster... And then... You still have some fruits and yogurt left, and nice kids always eat their desserts! Ok, it was my choice to combine the Warrior diet with this but who had ever thought that 900 calories can be THIS MUCH??? (I know, just down 2 donuts and you've consumed that much easily, but that's not the point.)

Ok this sounds like all complaining but I have to admit I never had so much fun while eating.... I kept making fun of myself and believe me it's even harder to eat while your tears are falling of laughing... And the training was great as well. I've been quite depressed lately, you know, the winter, less sunlight, feeling like nothing is happening in my life. Well right now I don't even remember how that feels. I am quite happy and relaxed and PROUD of myself. Day 1 sorted. Enjoyed every moment of it. Even the cod liver oil.
